Burberry present their first and much anticipated collection under Riccardo Tisci, new Chief Creative Officer on Monday while we welcome Victoria Beckham who brings her show to the London schedule for the first time to celebrate a decade in business. ALEXACHUNG will stage a catwalk to present her new collection while Jenny Packham returns to London to celebrate her brand’s 30th anniversary. Furthermore, MM6 Maison Margiela and Nicholas Kirkwood will both present full runway collections for the first time as part of LFW.

Diana: Her Fashion Story 

 Kensington Palace Until November 2018 Kensington Palace State Apartments, Kensington Gardens, London, W8 4PX Follow Princess Diana’s iconic style and discover how she used her image to inspire people and champion causes close to her heart through her outfits. Take a closer detailed look at the glamorous gowns from the 1980s to the chic working outfits of 1990s and how she established herself as a trendsetter, princess and patron. To celebrate the success of the exhibition this far, outfits from some of Diana’s most iconic moments have been added to the display for 2018. The flak vest, denim shirt and Armani chinos selected for her high-profile visit to the landmine fields of Angola in 1997 will form the centrepiece of the exhibition until November 2018. Other items joining the exhibition are the pink Bellville Sassoon suit worn by the Princess to board the train for her honeymoon and never-before displayed outfits including a sumptuous Victor Edelstein evening gown worn for an official portrait by Terence Donovan.

 The Black Cultural Archives was founded in 1981, by educationalist and historian Len Garrison alongside several other dedicated people. 
The mission of BCA is to record, preserve and celebrate the history of people of African descent in Britain.
Having spent the early part of my fashion and beauty career working with my Mentor Neil Kenlock, 
I was honoured to be invited to the wonderful summer evening launch at the Black Cultural Archive in Brixton London.

We were honoured to witness a Celebration of Leaders who have worked or influenced the wider aspects of the British culture during the 1960's and 1970's.
This powerful exhibition unveils unpublished photos was launched by the Jamaican High commissioner his Excellency Mr Seth George Ramocan

 Community leader, Entrepreneur and Photographer Kenlock uncovers the culture of Black British Community leaders in the UK. His stunning imagery plays tribute to those who have worked or influenced the wider aspects of the British culture during the 1960's and 1970's.

I was fortunate to spend time during my Red carpet attendance of this memorable exhibition, to regale memories with some of the respected key heroes of British history. The featured unpublished black and white photographs from the archive collection of Neil Kenlock, truly captures images of the anti-discrimination marches, campaigns and community events. The exhibition is part of the Expectations Project which over a series of events aims to increase public awareness, exploring past historic moments with access to the archive collection.

Visitors can enjoy many of the communal areas of the historic building, whilst exploring the honest and unique story of African and Caribbean leaders. With an artistic eye and heartfelt dedication Neil Kenlock, was able to capture truly rare and iconic cultural moments.

Tell us about Pink Spaghetti and what you do.
Thank you, Cheryl - It's great to be on board! Pink Spaghetti is a virtual assistant business that specialises in helping small business owners to do all the things they don’t have time to do themselves. For some clients, that’s social media, email marketing and website updates, but for others it’s general admin, organisation and bookkeeping. It really does vary according to what the client likes (and doesn’t like) doing themselves.

What kind of clients do you work with?
My clients range from property management companies to frazzled mothers. Many of my clients are women business owners - probably because it's very often the woman of the household who is juggling not just their own business, but also a family and a busy household.

What made you go into business by yourself?
My mother ran a successful hairdressing business and she always talked so passionately about it. I have very fond memories of coming home from school to find ladies sat in the kitchen with their hair in curlers!

When I started a family of my own, it was a no-brainer. I wanted to be there for my daughter like my mum was. But I also wanted to have a career that I love. My mother died many years ago, but I still have the sign from her business on my wall and I hope she would be proud of me.


What’s the biggest challenge when running your business?

Work-life balance! My husband is also self-employed and it’s a constant juggle with my clients, his clients and childcare. My daughter got juice into my phone a couple of weeks ago and I was off radar for about a week while it got repaired. It was incredibly liberating!



Once your alarm goes off… I don’t have an alarm, I have a two-year-old! On the times when an alarm is needed though, I hit snooze at least three times. As a result, I always set my alarm 15-30 minutes before I actually need to get up.

My happy place is… a rock overlooking the ocean on an island just off the coast of Croatia with the sun going down and Otis Redding on my iPod. Bliss.
